Senator Casey awards $250 K to PCAR’s HERO Project

Delilah Rumburg, PCAR’s Executive Director, introduced Senator Robert P. Casey and spoke about the HERO project. She thanked Senator Casey for all the work that he has done in Washington, D.C. to help stop sexual violence in our communities.

“I am proud to be here today to announce $250,000 in much-needed funding for an organization that is doing vital work fighting violence against women and children,” Senator Casey said. “One of the most chilling statistics you will hear is that 22,000 children a year in Pennsylvania are victims of sexual abuse.”
